Refund and Returns Policy

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to purchases made on https://shop.specifo.co.uk.


1. Important Information About Special & Made-to-Order Items

Many of our products are imported or manufactured specifically after an order is placed. These items are considered special order / made-to-order products.

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Made-to-order items

  • Products imported specifically after purchase

  • Special order items

These products are supplied specifically for the customer and cannot be returned unless faulty or incorrect.


2. UK-Stocked & Ex-Display Items (Cooling-off period applies)

Returns are accepted for UK-stocked and ex-display items only.

You may return these items within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unused

  • The item is in original condition and packaging

  • Proof of purchase is provided


3. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under UK consumer law.

This applies to all products, including made-to-order and special order items.


4. How to Request a Return

To request a return or report a faulty item, please contact us at:

Please include:

  • Order number

  • Product name

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (if applicable)

Return instructions will be provided where applicable.


5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Change of mind (UK-stocked & ex-display items): return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

  • Faulty or incorrect items: return shipping costs are covered by us

  • Special order / made-to-order items: returns are not accepted


6. Restocking Fee

For approved change-of-mind returns of UK-stocked or ex-display items, a restocking fee of up to 25% may be deducted from the refund.

Restocking fees:

  • Do not apply to faulty or incorrect items

  • Are not charged where prohibited by law

Made-to-order and special order items are non-returnable and therefore not subject to restocking fees.


7. Refunds

Once a return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days

  • Any applicable restocking fee will be deducted before the refund is issued


8. Exchanges

Exchanges are not offered unless required by law.


9. Product Page Disclosure

Each product page clearly states whether the item is:

  • UK-stocked

  • Ex-display

  • Made-to-order / special order
